How to set up a proxy in Drony on Android

To configure the Drony app for proxy use on your Android device, follow these steps:

  1. Download and install Drony. Upon opening the app, you'll be directed to the “Log” page. Scroll to the “Settings” section.

  3. Go to the “Networks” section and select your preferred proxy protocol type.

  5. Enter the proxy server's IP in the “Hostname” field. Input the port number in the line below. For private servers, add your “Username” and “Password”. This section also allows you to adjust settings like caching time, private DNS, etc.

  7. Once setup is complete, return to the previous menu. Use the “Filters” tab to manage proxy use for specific applications. The “Links” tab lets you list domains that will maintain a direct connection.
  8. To activate the proxy, go back to the “Log” tab and click the “OFF” button at the bottom.

Disabling proxy in Drony

To disable proxy in Drony:

  1. Open Drony and navigate to the “Log” page.
  2. Click the “ON” button. Alternatively, close the app from the running programs list to automatically disconnect the proxy and direct traffic normally.

With Drony configured, all your device’s traffic will route through the proxy server. This setup enables access to blocked web resources, downloads of previously unavailable applications, and ensures anonymous internet surfing.
