The process for setting up a proxy in Signal on iOS is similar to Android, despite the differences in the interface.

It is possible to synchronize devices and use the Desktop version on Windows, having previously linked it to an IOS or Android device on which the application is already installed and a proxy is configured. To do this, you must perform the following steps.

  1. On your iOS or Android device, open the Signal app. Go to “Settings”, then select “Linked Devices”.

  2. On your Windows device, open Signal Desktop. Use your iOS or Android device to scan the QR code displayed on the desktop.

  4. In the desktop version, finalize the linking process by naming your PC and clicking the “Finish linking phone” button.
