Step-by-step proxy settings tutorial for Android

You can set up a proxy using special applications or directly through Wi-Fi settings. After setting up, you will be able to change the IP address and location on your phone, bypass regional blocking, and much more.

How to set up a proxy on Android using Wi-Fi settings

This setting is also suitable for Android versions 11 and 12. You do not need Root rights for it, the only thing you need to have is a high-quality personal proxy server.

  1. Go to Wi-Fi settings and turn it on.

  5. Open the settings of this network.

  7. Find the "Proxy" section (you may have it in the "Advanced Settings" section, depending on the phone model).

  11. In the "Host" field, enter the IP address of your proxy, and in the "Port" field, enter the port of the proxy.

  15. After installation, go to any browser, where an authorization window will immediately pop up. Enter the Username and Password from your proxy server in the required fields and do not forget to save.

How to turn off proxy on Android

You can disable the proxy in the same way as you configured it:
