How to set up a proxy in Chrome
Setting up a proxy for the Chrome browser will take you just a couple of minutes. The first step is to clear the history and cache - this will provide a higher level of protection. For this:
In the browser, go to the menu in the upper right corner, hover over "History" and go to the section with the same name "History".
On the left, click on the inscription "Clear Browser Data".
Select "All Time" and check all boxes.
Click on the "Clear Data" button and the history will be deleted.
Now let's move on to the proxy configuration.
Open a browser.
Go to the menu in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the list.
On the sidebar, open advanced settings by clicking on "Advanced".
Select the "System" category.
Click on "Open your computer's proxy settings".
Windows settings will open. In the “Manual proxy setup” section, move the slider to On.
Enter your proxy server details: IP address and port.
In this field, you can specify exception sites for which proxies will not work.
Click on the "Save" button.
