Setting up a proxy in Signal Desktop

Signal Desktop does not provide its own functionality for setting up a proxy. It is possible to synchronize devices and use the Desktop version on Windows, having previously linked it to an IOS or Android device on which the application is already installed and a proxy is configured. To do this, you must perform the following steps.

  1. On your iOS or Android device, open the Signal app. Go to “Settings”, then select “Linked Devices”.
