How to set up a proxy in Proxifier

This program is commonly used by gamers to hide personal information and remain anonymous. But it can also be useful for working safely in browsers and social networks, for doing business, or for bypassing blocking.

All you need is a good personal proxy server, which you can purchase on our website, and install Proxifier. Let's start setting up!

Step-by-step instructions for proxy settings in Proxifier

1. Open the program.
2. Select the "Profile" tab and then "Proxy Servers".

   

3. In the opened window, click on the "Add" button. (later in the same window you will be able to add new proxy servers).

   

4. Another window will open. Enter the IP address of your proxy in the "Address" line and Port in the "Port" line.

   

5. Select the protocol (type) of your proxy.

   

6. If you have a personal proxy server with a Username and Password, check the box next to "Enable" and enter the data.

   

7. Now let's check if the proxy works. Click on the "Check" button and you will see the result: "Testing Failed" means that something is wrong with your server, or you entered the data incorrectly. And if you see a green approving inscription, then everything is fine and you can continue.

   

   

   

8. Click on “OK”.

   

9. When you close the settings, the following window will appear. Click "Yes" if you want the proxy to work for all programs and sites.

   

How to use Proxifier for a specific program?

If you need to set up a proxy only for a specific program, follow these steps:

1. In the program, select the "Profile" tab and then "Proxification Rules...".

   

2. In the opened window, click on the "Add" button.

   

3. Type in any name you want for the task in the "Name" field (for example, the name of the desired program).

   

4. Click on the "Browse" button and select the path to the program .exe file for which you want to configure the proxy (for example, the path to the game or browser).

   

5. At the bottom, next to the "Action" inscription, select the desired proxy (which we have already configured according to the instructions above).

   

6. Click "OK" and close all windows. And the setting is finished!

   

Check the setting through the browser. To do this, enter in the search bar "My IP address" and select any site that you like. This will work only if you have set the proxy for your browser where you are going to check it. If the IP on the site and the IP of your proxy match, the installation was successful!
